What does it cost? There is a one-time donation of $500 made out to Haiti Reads. This will cover us registering your domain name for one year* at GoDaddy. It will also cover us building and designing a five page website with your info and pictures, and linking your site to Social Media outlets. If you do not have social media pages, we will create them for you.
We will also give you personal training and access to your website in case you want to change anything you don’t like. You will be in control of the pages you want to be in control over.
After the first year, you will pay $100 to keep your domain name registered and website hosting. We will continue helping you to make changes to your website in that time. However, we cannot do a complete redesign. A complete redesign will cost you $250.00. Anytime you are ready to take control over your website, all rights will be transferred to you.
We cannot design a logo for you; however, we know artist who can work with you on this. They have their own fees.
There are no refunds! It takes a lot of time to create and maintain a website and when you pay for services, part of this will also cover your domain registration. Whenever you are ready to take over your website, you will have to recreate the site somewhere else. Taking control of your website also means moving the hosting!!!
